As a lifelong resident of Florida and career insurance agent, Jeffrey Campbell is no stranger to helping the community.
From the Seminole County Citizens Academy and Oviedo Medical Center, to serving Thanksgiving Dinner to those that need it—and of course, the Oviedo Police Foundation—Jeffrey gives his time in a lot of ways.
He’s a board member at the Oviedo Police Foundation and because he has helped so many citizens, we wanted to shine the spotlight on him for a bit.
Meet Jeffrey B. Campbell
Jeffrey Campbell first visited Oviedo as a college student at UCF. Although he was raised in Florida, he fell in love with the community. He married the love of his life in 1986 and had two amazing children.
He began his State Farm agency over 30 years ago and has helped thousands navigate through some of the most stressful times in their lives. His agency offers auto insurance, home, life, disability, commercial products, and liability products.
With his mission statement of “helping our customers manage the risk of everyday life, recover from the unexpected and to realize their dreams,” you’re unlikely to find a more caring agent than Jeffrey!
We wanted the community to get to know Jeffrey a little better so we asked him some questions about living in the Oviedo community and what he loves the most about it.
What about the Oviedo community means the most to you?
Since my first visit to Oviedo in 1983, I’ve wanted to call this area home. After college, I purchased a home and have lived here for 33 years. I love that it felt like home then, and still feels like home now.
What are your top three restaurants in Oviedo?
My family and I like to frequent Circosta’s Italian, Mission BBQ, and Sushi Pop. However, I have to give an honorable mention to the Oviedo Ale House.
What are your top three things to do in Oviedo?
I’m a family man, so I like to bike on the Oviedo trails, go to Center Lake Park to hang out and walk, and watch Little League sports. I adore being out in the community in my free time.
How did you first get involved with OPF?
I had always made it a point to be involved with my kids and their schools. After sitting in the high school stands for sports, I ended up becoming friends with the past police chief, Jeff Chudnow. We met, hung out, and the rest was history.
What about OPF made you want to stay involved?
It has to do with the value and talent of our Oviedo police officers. Giving of your time should begin at home and I find value in that. I appreciate that it allows me to give back to the community that I hold so dear. Being able to see the difference in the officers through training, education, and support is so fulfilling.
Thank you, Jeffrey B.!
You’re invaluable to our mission and we are so happy to spotlight you since you’re so integral to our community.
We look forward to many more years of working and growing together. Thank you for everything you do!
